This Privacy Policy explains how Vital Health Institute ("we") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the training platform (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email, organization, and role.
• Learning activity — assignments, progress, quiz and survey responses, attendance, and certificates.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data — logs and device information used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide the Service, deliver and track training, issue certificates, send notifications you have not opted out of, process payments, and keep the platform secure.

3. Sensitive information

The Service is used by behavioral-health organizations. We handle learner data with care and limit access according to role and organization. Do not enter protected health information into free-text fields except where your organization's policies permit.

4. Sharing

We share information within your organization according to role-based access, and with service providers that help us operate the platform (such as hosting, email delivery, video hosting, and payment processing). We do not sell personal information.

5. Guardians and linked accounts

Where enabled, a parent or guardian may be linked to a participant to view that participant's progress and attendance. Linking is controlled by your organization.

6. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, and we use technical and organizational measures to protect it.

7. Your choices

You can update your profile in Settings and manage certain email notifications. For access, correction, or deletion requests, contact your organization administrator.
